Conerstone of the Buena Vista Courthouse. One side reads, "Laid by the A.F. & A.M. June 3 A.L.5882. A.D. 1882." The other side reads, :"Co. Com. T.I. Briscoe. C.A. Montross. Jos. Hutchinson." Joseph Sykes Hutchinson (born Dec. 31, 1837, died May 15, 1882) was wounded in Vicksburg, Miss in the the Civil War. He came to Cash Creek in 1866. He married Annabel McPherson at Helena on Oct. 15, 1868. Photo taken 1980.
